Day 1: Arrive in Lhasa and transfer to the hotel
Highlights: spectacular scenery and typical Tibetan villages along the way
Welcome to the “Roof of the World.” On your arrival to Tibet, You will be greeted by Tibetan English speaking guide in a traditional Tibetan way. Then drive to the city and transfer to the hotel. You can have a good rest for the rest of the day so that you can adjust to the altitude. Remember to drink plenty of water and get plenty of sleep for the journey ahead

Day 2: Potala Palace/Jokhang Monastery/Barkhor Street

This morning you’ll wind your way up through the stunning, awe-inspiring Potala Palace. Built in 637 AD by Songtsen Gampo, it was the former winter residence for the Dalai Lamas and is truly a splendor of Eastern architecture. The cardinal landmark of Lhasa, Potala Palace, is a structure of massive portions. Its towering image already appearing on various occasions, but your first sight of the Potala will still be an awe-inspiring moment. Potala Palace is a place where you can appreciate the Tibetan culture, religion and art of architecture as well.
Next, visit the Jokhang Monastery, the center of Tibetan Buddhism, also built in the 7th century on the legendary pond of “Wothang.”Jokhang Temple is the spiritual center of Tibet. Every day, pilgrims from every corner of Tibet trek a long distance to the temple to pray for their now and future. The temple is the product of Han, Tibetan and Nepalese architectural techniques.
Finish the day by walking around the Barkhor Street, the oldest street in a very traditional city in Tibet, where you can buy the local products such as hand-made carpet, Tibetan medicine and so on. Test your bartering skills with the locals in this push-and-shove economy. Here you could see some very religious people prostrating countless on the ground.

Day 3: Lhasa/ Yamdrok Lake /Gyantse/Shigatse

In the morning you will leave for Gyantse and drive by up to Kambala Pass where you will visit the Yamdrok Lake, one of the three holiest lakes in Tibet. Yamdroktso Lake is a coiling, many-armed body of water shaped like a scorpion. It doubles back on itself on the western side, effectively creating a large island within its reaches. It is worth visiting since it is called turquoise lake because of its beautiful view.

Day 4: Tashilump/Lhatze/Tingri/Rongbuk Monastery
Highlights: Tashilumpo, Rongbuk Monastery
Today we will visit Tashilumpo, sprawls on the slops of Mt. Niser, southwest of Shigatse. It covers an area of about 300,000 square meters. There are many valuable and rare historical articles in the monastery. Also we will go around the local free market to see what the local people's business looks like. After that we are going to Rongbuk Monastery that is the highest monastery on earth.

Day 5 Rongbuk Monastery/ Mt. Everest Base Camp /Tingri/Zhangmu
Today we will go to the Mt. Everest Base Camp, walk around to shoot valuable photos and appreciate the beautiful views of Mt. Everest. Many tourists like collecting some stones as the souvenirs.Mount Everest is the highest mountain in the world at 8844 meters (29016 ft) above sea level, with snow capping all year round. It is located in the Himalaya Mountains on the border of Nepal and Tibet, China. Its north slope belongs to China and south belongs to Nepal. For Tibetans, Mt. Chomolungma (meaning Goddess Mother of Snow) had been in common use for centuries, while for Nepalese, it is called Mt. Sagarmatha. Mount Everest is sacred among the Tibetans and Nepalese Today we will drive to Zhangmu.

Day 6 Zhangmu/Nepal
Get up in the early morning to watch the grand view of sunrise. Later pick you up and drive to Tibet border. The landscapes on the way are stunning beautiful featuring deep valleys, waterfalls and snow-capped mountains. Upon your arrival at the border, go through the customs and across the border bridge to Nepal. Our service ends. Welcome to Tibet again.
